Looking to make a real impact? As Senior Housing Officer, you'll lead members of the Tenancy and Estates Team to deliver exceptional service, achieve goals, and drive forward the Council's ambitions. With strong leadership and a focus on collaboration, you'll manage a high performing, skilled team, supporting the shaping of thriving and cohesive communities.
Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Manage and oversee tenancy and estate management duties, including tenancy sustainment and enforcement; transfers and mutual exchanges to maximise the effective use of the Council’s housing stock, tenant engagement and community involvement; and the management community centres.
- To oversee the production of weekly, monthly, and quarterly statistical information to ensure objectives, KPIs and targets are achieved
- Contribute to the formulation, implementation and monitoring of tenancy and estates strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and maintain effective external networks with Partners, Suppliers, Professional Bodies, Government Office and other organisations that complement and support the work and business interests of the Council.
