We are looking for an experienced Family Help Worker to join our team.</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong><strong>Who you are… </strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Level 3 qualified in a relevant field in Early Years, Health or Social Care</li>\n<li>Experienced in working with children from birth to 19 years and their parents</li>\n<li>Knowledgeable at completing assessments of risk and need, using a signs of safety approach</li>\n<li>Excellent at communicating with a wide range of people and have clear professional boundaries</li>\n<li>Able to work independently and as part of a supportive team of professionals</li>\n<li>Skilled at group work delivery (or willing to undertake training)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>About the role…</strong></p>\n<p>As a Family Help Worker, you must share our commitment to working collaboratively with families, building on their strengths whilst keeping a focus on the needs of children. Duties also include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>To undertake the role of lead professional</li>\n<li>Complete early help assessments using a Signs of Safety approach</li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with families and other professionals to develop clear wellbeing plans</li>\n<li>Work with families to develop their networks of support</li>\n<li>To ensure that accurate and up-to-date records plus all other associated administration tasks are maintained for every child and young person</li>\n<li>To ensure the voice of the child and young person is central to the assessment and wellbeing plan</li>\n<li>To deliver in partnership with other agencies, a comprehensive early intervention and where required intensive support package of family support.</li>\n<li>To deliver group work activities to parents and carers</li>\n</ul>\n<p>As a Family Help Worker, you will be required to work flexibly, when families need support.  A full UK driving licence is required to travel around the county.</p>\n<p>The successful applicant for the Family Help Worker post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS are paid by us.</p>\n<p><strong>The Family Help Worker interviews will be held on 01 October 2024.
