How You’ll Be Involved
Are you passionate about creating a fair and safe trading environment? As an Apprentice Trading Standards Officer, you'll play a vital role in enforcing tobacco and vape regulations, supporting community initiatives, and tackling scams. You'll lead investigations, ensure legal compliance, and foster partnerships across various sectors. You will enforce fair trading, product safety, alcohol, and tobacco regulations, lead complex case investigations and resolutions, and build strong relationships with diverse partners.
You'll help create a better future for consumers and support community development. Your work will enhance resilience against scams and fraudulent trading, benefiting the Camden community. You'll mitigate the impacts of illicit trade, including modern slavery, environmental issues, and health and safety risks, especially for vulnerable individuals. You'll also address socio-economic effects on compliant industries and consumers and combat the culture of illegality and anti-social behaviour in tourist, evening, and weekend economies.
