Dawpool Church of England Primary School is seeking to recruit Wrap-Around Care Manager to lead and manage our breakfast and after-school clubs. The vacancy is fixed term to 31.07.25 with a view to becoming permanent.
Dawpool Primary School serves the local community of Thurstaston and Irby and is situated in a unique and beautiful rural setting, nestled into Thurstaston Hill on the edge of Royden Park.
We are a very happy, successful and popular Church of England primary school with a dedicated, hardworking team of staff and governors, supportive parents and delightful children.
We offer Wrap-Around Care for pupils aged 3-11. We are seeking to appoint a permanent Wrap-Around Care Manager who will lead and manage our breakfast and after-school clubs. The role is a split shift: 7:30am – 9:00am for breakfast club and 3:00pm – 6:00pm for after-school club. The Wrap-Around provision operates from the school site, utilising our indoor and outdoor spaces.
The successful candidate will lead a dedicated and friendly team of play workers managing the planning, day-to-day organisation and operation of Wrap-Around Care for pupils aged 3-11. Full working knowledge of relevant safeguarding policies, codes and practices is essential.
We would like someone who has a caring approach to the children and who can demonstrate creativity and flexibility. You must be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills, be able to plan and prepare appropriate activities and communicate effectively with parents.
Dawpool Church of England Primary School is fully committed to safeguarding and high levels of pupil and staff welfare. The successful candidate would be required to actively support the Christian ethos of the school.
