We are recruiting an Administration Officer at Caerphilly County Borough Council.
Working hours: 22 Hours
Contract Type: Permanent/Part Time
Location: Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Highways Services Team.
We pay an attractive salary of £15,212 - £16,214 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
The successful candidate will assist in the provision of high quality administrative support to the Engineering Division across a range of administrative and clerical duties in line with policies and procedures.
You will proactively contribute to process, system, and service improvements through the development of constructive relationships with technical staff, team members and members of the public.
The postholder will need to understand and demonstrate the principles of confidentiality and work within the policies and procedures of the Council, including recognising the duty to protect vulnerable adults, children and young people.
For the role, we ask that you have:
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade A*-C (including Maths and English) or equivalent or a relevant Level 2 qualification on the Credit and Qualification Framework for Wales.
- Knowledge of and proficiency in a variety of IT packages, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience of working with financial systems and within an administrative/clerical environment.
- A flexible and positive attitude to change.
