The four Local Authorities comprising AiM are Knowsley,Liverpool, Sefton and Wirral. The Adoption Support worker role will involve  supporting staff within the Adoption Support team in working  with adoptive families and children.</p>\n<p>You will: </p>\n<p>  - be suitably qualified to work with young children (NNEB or equivalent)</p>\n<p>  - have recent experience of working with children in an appropriate setting.</p>\n<p>  - be able to work independently or as part of the Adoption Support team.</p>\n<p>  - have a full driving licence to be able to travel the Merseyside region to visit families.</p>\n<p>  - have some knowledge of the issues experienced by adoptive families.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Knowsley Council we will consider requests for flexible working.  For most roles, the following types of flexibility are usually possible: flexible hours, working from home, compressed hours, part-time. </p>\n<p>We promote applications from all sections of the community, regardless of background, belief, or identity, recognising the value that diversity brings to our organisation.
