Those applying will need to have a good understanding of the application of the principles & eligibility criteria set out in the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.

The team has an established culture of teamwork where staff are very supportive of each other.

Applications from experienced as well as newly qualified social workers are welcomed, and a structured induction will be provided together with:

  • Support to complete CPEL for new qualified staff.
  • Training to promote your continued professional development.
  • Evidenced based and timely decision making.
  • Regular supervision, appraisal, and opportunities for reflective practice.
  • Supportive and experienced Senior Practitioners and Team Managers.
