Do you have a passion for performing arts? If so, the role of Performing Arts - Library Assistant could be for you. Performing Arts is a 6 day a week service and supplies music and drama sets to over 500 registered groups throughout Hertfordshire and beyond.
Our showroom is available for members of the public to view the collection, collect items and make enquiries.
We have recently launched a new website - HPALS - which gives our borrowers 24/7 access to our catalogue and enables them to place orders online.
About the role
The launch of our website HPALS has been a huge step forwards for the service and we are in a period of adjustment for our borrowers.
You will be an integral part of supporting our borrowers with this change and introducing them to all the benefits of using HPALS.

About you
Essential Skills:
- Experience in delivering a high standard of Customer Service to members of the public, in person, over the phone and via email
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Internet and other computer-based resources.
- Ability to support members of the public with queries and use of IT
- Demonstrable time management skills in organising and prioritising
- The ability to learn on the fly and adapt to the changes of our new online system.
- Knowledge of performing arts and music is preferable but not a necessity, as training will be given.
- Knowledge of Library Services
