An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader Specialist in Environmental Health. You will lead the Food and Health & Safety Team at Brighton & Hove City Council. Do you have a talent for leading teams to provide great customer service and achieving desired outcomes?
We are looking to recruit a motivated and committed person who values the Council’s aim to be a fair and inclusive place to work and to implement this into how we deal with a diverse group of customers from a variety of backgrounds.
You will be the day to day operational lead for the food and health & safety service, providing support and direction to a team of busy, friendly, professional team members.
You will have significant experience in food and health & safety and be registered with the Environmental Health Registration Board. You will be an expert source of knowledge, supervising and mentoring your team on case-related activities and enforcement. You will also be influential in the development of innovative, customer focused service delivery of our projects and programmes with this area of service.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
