We are looking for 4 Stop Smoking Advisors to join the Health Lifestyles Team. 3 of these roles will be working with adults aged 18+ and 1 role will be working with children and young people aged 12 - 25.

The Healthy Lifestyles Team delivers a range of services and activities to support individuals and families in Brighton & Hove to live happy healthy lives.
Smoking is the leading cause of health inequalities and accounts for half of the difference in life expectancy between the most and least affluent communities in England. In Brighton & Hove 13% of adults and 11% of children aged 14-16, smoke.
1 in every 2 smokers will die from a smoking-related disease. Stopping smoking is one of the most important changes a person can make for their health and wellbeing.
In this uniquely rewarding role you will be delivering life-changing support, delivering an evidenced-based stop smoking programme to give people the best chance of living smoke free lives.
You will:
Experience delivering stop smoking interventions is beneficial but is not essential; you will be offered full training in smoking cessation and behaviour change techniques.

What we offer:
You will be based at our office in Bartholomew’s House in central Brighton, but you will also work from community venues or schools and colleges in the city. Wednesdays are a key office day for the team, so you must be available to work on Wednesdays.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
