The key functions of the role include the local development and delivery of training, awareness and programmes to support the objectives of the national Prevent Strategy, which is part of the wider Government CONTEST Strategy.<br><br>The successful applicant will work in close partnership with colleagues within the Council, Police, and a range of other agencies to ensure a co-ordinated approach to activity to reduce the harm and risk to individuals and the community. Good partnership work with local communities is central to the successful delivery of the Prevent objectives within St Helens.
