The successful candidate will need to have strong organisational and administrative skills, good ICT skills, be a team player, have patience and a sense of humour.</p>\n<p>We are seeking someone with exceptional communication skills who has the vision and passion to work with our team to develop our growing school community.</p>\n<p>St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School is a Voluntary Aided Catholic School. We are part of the Holy Family Catholic Multi Academy Trust.</p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:</p>\n<p><strong>Organisation</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise and engage in the day-to-day work of the administrative function of the school office.</li>\n<li>Contribute towards the planning, development and organisation of the support service systems, procedures and policies.</li>\n<li>Supervise, train and develop additional administrative staff as appropriate.</li>\n<li>Assist in the organisation of school trips/events in cooperation with other staff. To ensure that staff and external providers (e.g. coach companies) have completed all associated risk assessments.</li>\n<li>Communicate effectively with parents and carers, staff and the wider community.</li>\n<li>​​Manage and monitor attendance of all pupils and liaise with the school leadership team and Education Welfare Officer.</li>\n<li>Manage the school communication / payment system by setting up payments and clubs for trips, breakfast club and extra-curriculum activities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>**The school is currently exploring options of wrap-around care. The Office Manager will be pivotal in the implementation of this process</p>\n<p><strong>Administration</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage manual and online information management systems (especially Arbor) and maintain the school website alongside the school leadership team.</li>\n<li>Book supply cover for staff as required with support from the school leadership team.</li>\n<li>Analyse and evaluate data/information and produce reports/information/data as required.</li>\n<li>Undertake work processing and complex IT-based tasks.</li>\n<li>Provide personal, administrative and organisational support to other staff.</li>\n<li>Oversee and organise the management of admissions procedures in line with the Council’s Criteria, maintain waiting lists and allocate spaces accordingly in line with the schools’ admissions policy.</li>\n<li>In conjunction with the school leadership team, manage admissions of Nursery children.</li>\n<li>Keep records in accordance with the school’s record retention schedule and data protection law, ensuring information security and confidentiality at all times.</li>\n<li>Manage the induction process for new children.</li>\n<li>Book training courses for all staff as required with support from the school leadership team.</li>\n<li>Manage the administration of recruitment including advertising, collating documentation, medical clearance and DBS checks as required.</li>\n<li>Support the data protection officer with ensuring data protection compliance and helping the school community understand how to comply with data protection law.</li>\n<li>Prepare, administer and submit the bi-annual School Census.</li>\n<li>To be responsible for coordination and production of accurate material to parents and carers.</li>\n<li>To be responsible for the maintenance of stock levels of stationary and supplies.</li>\n<li>To be responsible for downloading/uploading emails and use of the internet as required.</li>\n<li>To be called upon to perform other duties that the school leadership team considers reasonable that are commensurate with the grading and description of this post.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>We offer:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A beautiful working environment and a highly committed staff team who go above and beyond for the families we serve.</li>\n<li>Wonderful, friendly children who love learning.
