We are seeking to recruit a welfare assistant who will thrive working in a busy, stimulating school environment and who will share our vision of a dynamic and positive school culture where all staff and children feel valued and part of a team.</p>\n<p>The key responsibilities of the role include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assisting teachers to establish clear routines within the early years classrooms</li>\n<li>Providing emotional support during a sensitive time of transition in children’s early school journey</li>\n<li>Supporting children to embed their daily routines and achieve skills to manage their own needs, including assisting with intimate care procedures.</li>\n<li>Engaging in play throughout the day, both at lunchtime in the hall and during dedicated play in the newly refurbished EYFS classroom spaces</li>\n<li>Empowering children to ask for help and encouraging them to become more independent</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Please outline in your application your relevant experience with children and why you feel you would be suitable for the role.</p>\n<p>Visits to the school are very much welcomed, these are scheduled for Thursday 19<sup>th</sup> and Thursday 26<sup>th</sup> September at 9.30am.
