The vacancy
Do you have experience of managing complex Anti-Social Behaviour cases and high-risk incidents? Do you have experience of managing a team and holding others to account? Are you knowledgeable of current trends in housing law related to ASB?
If so, you could be the next Community Safety Manager here at Peabody where you'll play a crucial role in the delivery of Peabody's customer services ambition. You'll manage and motivate a team of Community Safety Specialists, ensuring they deliver excellent, value for money intervention and support services.
You'll engage and foster relationships with partners and collaborate with colleagues to enable and administer effective investigations. You'll manage ASB interventions effectively, and lead on complex and sensitive casework, taking an operational lead when appropriate. Experience of attending court and representing an organisation is required. To be successful in this role, you'll work in the office one day per week, and the rest of the week is spent between working from home and visiting estates/areas you work in. You will cover a patch spanning Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire, Northampton and Essex.
You'll be an excellent communicator with a pro-active and solutions focused approach, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Could it be you?
To be a success in this role, you're:
- in possession of a Housing qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject.
- experienced managing a team.
- experienced in managing an ASB service and the subsequent enforcement issues and related work
- able to robustly deal with challenging behaviour from customers and staff
- strong IT and problem-solving skills
- knowledge of current trends in housing law related to ASB experience of court proceedings and legal documentation
