An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an exceptional leader to join our leadership team as an Assistant Headteacher at Hilldene Primary School. This is an exciting time to join our dedicated and values driven team, developing and improving systems and processes in order to improve the quality of education for our children, improving outcomes academically and socially.
The Assistant Headteacher has leadership and management responsibilities, makes a significant contribution to the leadership of the school and demonstrates the capacity, knowledge and skills necessary to lead and manage any of a wide range of aspects of school life. Ideally this position would suit someone with leadership experience in a smaller school who is looking to gain experience and development as a leader in a larger setting.
Our new Assistant Head will:
- be a dynamic and creative practitioner with high expectations and a proven record of raising attainment.
- have a clear understanding of what constitutes excellent teaching and learning, and the ability to lead and develop staff in these areas.
- have the ability to lead the analysis of performance data
- have vision with proven leadership, management and communication skills.
- have strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- be passionate about developing community links and learning opportunities for all.
