The post holder will develop and manage effective carer and stakeholder relationships across Adult Social Care services, including facilitation, promoting and supporting active engagement of a diverse range of customers and residents with lived experience of their health condition and services.
The post holder will work with informal carers, council employees, customers and residents to develop a community of practice that promotes a culture of consultation, collaboration and coproduction. The post holder will inform and support carers groups, the Brent Carers Centre and the Brent Carers Board.
The post holder will have experience working on community initiatives and/or experience as a person with lived experience as a carer. They will have the people skills and the communication skills to work alongside a diverse range of community groups and organisations. They will have good coordination and management skills to develop and deliver consultation, collaboration and coproduction events. They will have knowledge of equality and accessibility standards.
