You must either have, or be willing to train in first aid at work, and have a good knowledge of supporting children with special educational needs.</p>\n<p>An interest in learning outdoors/ Forest School would be beneficial (there may be an opportunity to gain a forest school qualification).  </p>\n<p><strong>The successful candidate will:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>have a positive attitude and passion towards helping all children to learn</li>\n<li>be willing to provide intimate care, for example nappy changing</li>\n<li>be a proactive, positive role model for pupils</li>\n<li>be committed, flexible and reliable</li>\n<li>work well in a team and under the direction of the class teacher</li>\n<li>show initiative, when required</li>\n<li>be empathic and patient</li>\n<li>Communicate effectively with pupil, parents and staff.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We are committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people in our care and expect all staff to share this commitment.
