Greenacre Community Nursery School is a Sefton Council local authority maintained school with SEN provision, situated in the heart of the community, in Bootle, Merseyside.
The Governors and staff at this school are committed to the provision of care, education and welfare of the highest quality for the children of its community.
The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic and business minded individual to succeed the current Office Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the continued success and development of the nursery school.
The successful candidate will be an individual with extensive administrative experience; a strategic thinker and will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. An ability to establish highly effective, collaborative relationships with governors, colleagues, families and other stakeholders at all levels, is essential.
You will need to:
- Have school office experience.
- Have a can-do approach to problem-solving and a willingness to engage in a broad range of areas as the need arises; as you will be working in a busy environment. Prioritising tasks and showing initiative are important parts of the role, as many different situations arise throughout the day.
- Be self-directed
- Work well independently and also as part of a team
- Use IT packages confidently and competently
- Engage with a variety of stakeholder’s including children, local authority, staff and suppliers on a daily basis
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be organised, reliable and flexible
- Have a genuine commitment to children and high expectations for their progress, welfare and safeguarding
- Be welcoming and friendly with a good sense of humour
- Support the leadership of the nursery to improve outcomes for children and families.
