They will be able to form effective, positive, and motivational relationships.</p>\n<p><strong>OVERVIEW OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support a caseload of residents and participants and contribute to the development of support plans, risk assessments and reviews, to meet resident and participant needs.</li>\n<li>Empower our residents and participants to make decisions and take control over their lives, by creating an enabling environment.</li>\n<li>Develop and facilitate Resident & Participants engagement. Support recovery related activities for R&P to engage with activities. </li>\n<li>Support locally recruited apprentices/volunteers and develop peer mentoring</li>\n<li>Encourage residents to develop social networks and undertake meaningful activities to assist them to develop positive coping mechanisms and reintegrate into the wider community.</li>\n<li>Plan and implement a range of therapeutic individual and group work activities, and complete functional assessments, contributing to multi-disciplinary team care planning and risk assessments.</li>\n<li>Ensure all residents and participants understand their rights and responsibilities and have access to the right tools and resources, to support them back into society and building networks.</li>\n<li>Recognise signs of deteriorating mental health and initiate appropriate interventions to prevent a crisis.</li>\n<li>Support named residents/participants with various personal needs as required.</li>\n<li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external persons and agencies.</li>\n<li>Administration duties will vary.
