childhood development and managing behaviour;</li>\n<li>Awareness of safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the welfare and safety of children;</li>\n<li>An ability to self-evaluate and seek support and guidance to improve professional performance;</li>\n<li>Upholds a professional approach to working with outside agencies and our parents or guardians.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Essential requirements:<br></strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>GCSE in English and Maths to a grade C or equivalent;</li>\n<li>Have undertaken some previous school experience or worked with children / young people before, which can include voluntary work in educational settings or the community;</li>\n<li>Be committed to professional development and have either undertaken / be willing to undertake the QCF for Teaching Assistants;</li>\n<li>Be required to undertake regular First Aid Training;</li>\n<li>Be able to carry out all duties as described in the Learning Support Assistant Job Profile (See
