About the Role
We are looking for a Programme Manager for the Office for Public Service Innovation, the first of it’s kind in the UK: this is an innovative programme, driving transformative change through agile methodologies taking both data driven and community development approaches to public service innovation. As Programme Manager, you'll oversee the delivery of cutting-edge projects that enhance public services and improve citizen experiences. You'll collaborate with diverse stakeholders, foster a culture of innovation, and ensure successful outcomes.
This necessitates working in a fast moving development environment, deploying new agile approaches to a high complexity and uncertainty programme to enable local services to identify programmes for improvement and prepare for delivery. This balances work with data, stakeholders, communities and national Government to convene and shape the plan for delivery. You will need to oversee the develop of a number of workstreams to deliver the capability and outputs required for the Full Business Case and consequent implementation.
About the person
You will have strong experience in a range of programmes and projects which can be applied to our work, gained from different contexts. An inclusive, collaborative and results oriented leader, you will be able to balance development of people and processes with the need to achieve milestones and outputs. You should be a problem solver, demonstrate adaptability and flexibility and have the ability to see the big picture and picture the required future state.
