We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and forward thinking individual with a passion for health & safety to play a key role in the continued strengthening and development of our awarding winning Corporate Health &Safety team as a Trainee Health & Safety Advisor
Our 3 year fixed term Health & Safety Apprenticeship scheme will take you on a journey of learning and development . We will take care of you and your tuition fees as well as paying you for your hard work. Reporting to the Corporate Health and Safety Team Leader this is a new and exciting role providing the opportunity for someone to develop their knowledge and skills as well as gain a nationally recognised, Level 3 Health and Safety qualification and Tech membership of IOSH.
Working with a highly motivated and dedicated team you will be supported and developed in order to provide comprehensive health & safety advice, whilst providing support and training to staff within the wider Lincolnshire County Council team. Longer term, you will also work towards delivery health & safety support to managers as part of on-going safety development programme and performance target.

To succeed you'll need;
Alongside your day-to-day responsibilities you will be given 20% of your working week as paid time to complete a Level 3 Safety, Health and Environment Technician apprenticeship.
Please note that anyone with an existing level 3 or above qualification in Occupational Health and Safety i.e. NEBOSH general certificate or similar will not be eligible for this post
