We are pleased to be advertising the role of Project Support Officer, SEND Alternative Provision within the Children & Families Services Directorate. The Project Support Officer will make effective contribution to the local authority’s aim to enable children and young people to be educated within their local area and to contribute to the ambition to improve outcomes for children, young people and their families.
About you…..
To be successful you will need to be/have:
- An Administrator with experience in a project/programme support role
- Confident with the ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines within agreed timeframes
- Educated to A’ Level standard
- High level of written and oral communication skills
- Excellent IT skills, able to use web-based programmes
We are looking for the right person who can provide effective project support to the Lead Teacher and contribute to the development and delivery of robust self-review and reporting processes, establishing key documents to ensure alternative provision within Rutland mainstream schools is of high quality, equitable across all settings and sets high aspirations for all children and young people.
About the role…..
Duties will include:
- Provide support to the Lead Teacher
- Work with education stakeholders to design and deliver documents for service provision
- Lead in the development of a systematic approach to installing and implementing new programmes or developing existing systems
- Gather, evaluate and collate relevant information
- Developing and implementing budget control and monitoring processes
- Provide administrative support for the completion of financial reports
- Develop and maintain a quality assurance tracking system
Face to face interviews for the role of Project Support Officer will be held at the council offices, date is yet to be confirmed.
