Do you want to be at the forefront of driving business support and growth in one of the UK’s most resilient and dynamic economies? Do you have experience of inward investment, delivering solutions to business recruitment and retention issues?
Are you passionate about analysing and responding to economic trends data and business needs? REDA’s Economic Development Manager role will be crucial in driving the city’s continued smart and sustainable economic strategy for success.
Reading’s Economy & Destination Agency (REDA) is a £250k not-for-profit company with a small team of 8 passionate people, dedicated to promoting the Greater Reading sub-region, as a vibrant destination to visit, live, work and do business.
A private and public sector partnership, we focus on three core areas: marketing the place of Reading, attracting investment to Reading and supporting local businesses in Reading. Led by a Board of Directors, made up of some of Reading’s leading business, public sector and education leaders, and chaired by a Director of Stantec (a global infrastructure planning and engineering company), REDA has real influence in shaping Reading’s future goals and priorities.
