The purpose of the service is to ensure that properties are safe and suitable for occupation by homeless families and vulnerable individuals. Officers are expected to develop and maintain relationships with Local Authorities and Accommodation Providers.</p>\n<p>Applicants should have experience of inspecting properties, including HMOs, have an excellent knowledge of management standards including the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS).</p>\n<p>Candidates will be expected to travel within London to undertake property inspections in addition to other duties from an Ealing council office or from home. Candidates should be in possession of a full driving licence.</p>\n<p>This is full time post, applicants are expected to work a 35-hour week, with scope for some flexibility. Secondments are welcome.
