Due to internal promotion, we are looking to recruit a well organised Project Support Officer to support the newly formed Domestic and Sexual Abuse and VAWG Team to deliver on the implementation of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 and support the coordination specific projects. The team leads on a broad range of work which ranges from capacity building with community groups, commissioning services, facilitating the Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) to leading on Domestic Homicide Reviews. The successful candidate will provide excellent administration support to the Team and provide support to the MARAC when required to ensure a seamless service. The successful candidate will have an understanding of the issues that affect those experiencing domestic and /or sexual abuse and have knowledge of the current issues and developments in this area of work. Working with partners across the criminal justice system, statutory and voluntary sector as well as those with lived experience, it is essential that you will have the ability to work on complex and sensitive issues and have resilience to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.

Working arrangements are subject to Government guidance at the time. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team and travel to and from your contractual location would be at your own expense.
