Our focus involves providing support to adults with complex learning disabilities in group settings, maintaining ratios of 1:1, 1:2, and 1:4.<br><br>Your role will involve actively organizing engaging activities (such as Sensory Stories, Tac Pac, and local walks), creating care plans, delivering a user-led service. This approach encourages and supports individuals in developing their independence.<br><br>Furthermore, you will take on the responsibility of leading other staff, serving as a keyworker, assessing and managing risks, all while collaborating effectively as part of a team.<br><br><strong>Required Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualification in Care/NVQ3/Level 3 Diploma in Care and Promoting Independence or a commitment to attaining this qualification</li>\n<li>Capability to connect with service users, addressing their needs with a sense of understanding, patience, respect, and dignity</li>\n<li>Proficiency in assessing, documenting, and planning risk and strategies</li>\n<li>Ability to perform personal care duties with dignity and respect, including manual handling if necessary</li>\n<li>Effective teamwork and the capacity to work independently</li>\n<li>Competent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Packages such as Word and Outlook</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><br></strong>You’ll be part of a team that relies on each individual to play their part to the best of their ability.
