About the role
The purpose of this role will be to create and maintain bespoke automations using the preferred tool as selected by HCC. You will assist with any new initiatives or projects where automation will play a role for HCC's future. You will be responsible for working with HCC's wide-ranging departments and service delivery teams to build automation solutions following specifications and solution designs that have been provided.
You will take ownership of and resolve any incidents as and when they are reported. Alongside this you will contribute to project meetings and work with Project Managers and the business to provide robust, future-proof and bespoke applications that follow the standards set out by HCC.

About you
Essential:
- Efficient scripting and programming
- At least 18 months' experience in automation tools such as MS Power Automate, Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
- Version control; familiarity with source code control (e.g., Git)
- Problem solving and critical thinking; analytical skills and debugging skills
- Software development lifecycle experience with methodologies such as DevOps, Agile
- Advanced programming in multiple languages
- Database management; knowledge of working with SQL databases
- Cloud technologyskills, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
