This is an exciting time to take on the role of a Mechanical & Electrical PPM Manager.
The role
This is an exciting role to work as part of a team to deliver the Council’s mechanical and electrical capital programme across a range of property types. You will manage contracts and carry out inspections of works to establish whether this is in line with specified requirements, quality standards and relevant legislation.
You will be involved in developing policy and strategy and will design and prepare work plans, financial appraisals and working practices including advice on construction problems to inform bids.
About You
You will have a proven track record of delivering Mechanical and Electrical capital schemes, as well as experience in mechanical and electrical systems and a professional membership. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as you will be required to work with various stakeholders and develop close working relationships.
You will provide expert technical advice to staff across the organisation on a range of matters in regards to mechanical and electrical compliance.
