About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Transformation Programme Leads to provide strategic direction and leadership for the programmes within the Transforming Newham for the Future Plan. In this role, you will be responsible for driving system-wide transformation across the Council, managing key programmes and related projects, and leading the transformation delivery team. You will oversee the implementation of innovative programme governance, ensuring that the transformation agenda is delivered to a high standard, on time, and within budget.
As the Transformation Programme Lead, you will manage a budget of up to £4 million, balancing risk and resources to maximise benefits and efficiencies. You will work collaboratively with senior stakeholders, staff, and external partners to achieve the Council's objectives, ensuring that services are designed and delivered to meet the needs of Newham’s residents.
Key to your success will be your ability to navigate complex challenges, maintain effective governance structures, and drive change at pace while fostering a high-performance culture within your team.
