Benfield Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join our SEND team.
The successful applicants will be expected to provide support to children both individually and in groups.
We are looking for a suitably experienced and hardworking individual who is able to work as part of a team, follow directed tasks when needed as well as use their own initiative to work within the SEND Team. The position is based across our exciting and newly developed SEN support room, catering for pupils with neurodivergence as well as the classroom.
It will involve teaching small groups and in a 1:1 capacity. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong communication skills, creativity and a passion for overcoming barriers to learning.
They will be expected to deliver targeted programmes of support and implement recommendations and advice from both external services and in house.
The successful candidate must:
Hours: 8.30 -12 .15 - TA; MDSA hours between 12.15- 1.15; 1.15 – 3.15 TA
