Medway Council’s Library Service is recruiting for an enthusiastic, customer focused part time Business Services Officer to provide dedicated support to our Library and Community Hubs teams to deliver library and council services to Medway residents and visitors. Over 650,000 people visited Medway Libraries last year to use books and public computers, attend events and activities and access a wide range of council services.
The successful candidate will provide essential systems and back office support for libraries and community hubs including managing and maintaining our Library Management and public computer administration systems, performing statistical collation and analysis and co-ordinate customer satisfaction surveys across the service as well as supporting the Business Services Manager and Outreach team in the development of library service offers.
This is a part time post working 14.8 hours per week with one day per week working at Rainham Library, however the postholders may be required to travel to libraries across Medway and attend meetings out of the area as required.
