We are a thriving school community which offers our learners the best opportunities to succeed as we prepare them for adulthood.</p>\n<p>We are looking for a strong teacher who will become a specialist in teaching students with SEND.  The majority of our students have Autistic Spectrum Conditions, learning difficulties and/or sensory needs. This post will involve teaching mathematics up to GCSE standard and specialism is required in this subject. We welcome candidates with the flexibility and confidence to teach a variety subjects. We are seeking a teacher who can teach science initially but with the flexibility to potentially teach other subjects in time.</p>\n<p>We seek staff who are efficient and effective practitioners who see themselves as learners too. It is important that staff recognise the need to be reflective practitioners, keep on learning and developing new skills and work collaboratively with others to share practice.</p>\n<p>Our staff are keen, enthusiastic and committed to supporting students. Persistence and perseverance are also key professional qualities.  </p>\n<p><strong>The curriculum at Alt Bridge</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>The school teaches up to GCSE level in Maths, English and occasionally other subjects depending on options.</li>\n<li>Learners access entry levels, functional skills and Arts Awards qualifications in a range of subjects.</li>\n<li>The curriculum is organised into different pathways and strands to meet the needs of our learners. Our formal curriculum is based on the national curriculum at secondary level.
