About the Role
Do you want to take a leading role in shaping the future of the Liverpool City Region? We have an exciting opportunity within our Pipeline Development team for an experienced professional to coordinate the development of a pipeline of projects across transport, housing, investment and net zero carbon.
Our Investment & Delivery and Directorate are leading on the development and coordination of a multi-billion-pound pipeline of projects that will build on the funding already secured through the City Region Sustainable Transport Settlements Programme (CRSTS), housing retrofit, brownfield land and net zero programmes, to deliver long-lasting and significant change for the Liverpool City Region.
The role will ensure there are high quality pipelines of future capital projects across transport, housing, net zero and investment to meet strategic objectives. Working collaboratively with other teams the postholder will embed a consistent approach to pipeline development and ensure the Combined Authority is well placed to respond to national funding calls and has a clear strategy for investing devolved funds.
About the person
Reporting to the Pipeline Development Manager you will bring a wealth of experience in the development of a pipeline of infrastructure projects. With a strong background in stakeholder and project management. You will work as part of a team that will help to deliver the aspirations of our Metro Mayor and Corporate Plan, to meet the aims and objectives of our policies and strategies and effect positive change for the Liverpool City Region.
You should have the ability to build relationships around these shared objectives and coordinate a range of funding programmes into a place-based pipeline, which coordinates and compliments the work being undertaken by other departments within the Combined Authority. Pipeline development is an emerging role within the Combined Authority so an openness to innovation and creative problem solving is also encouraged.
