The Learning Partnership and the Principal at Leighton Academy wish to appoint a Nursery Teaching Assistant to support the learning needs of pupils in the nursery provision. We are looking for someone who is committed to the vision and values of the school and nursery, has a child-centred approach, is reliable and resilient and has energy and enthusiasm. They will also be keen to learn and come into nursery with fresh and new ideas to add to such a busy and lively environment. The candidate should have the ability to put their initiative and experience to good use.
The post is 35 hours per week, term time only, 8.30am – 4.00pm for 5 days per week with a 30-minute lunch break. The candidate needs to hold a Level 2 or equivalent, e.g. BTEC National Diploma. This is will be a permanent contract and involve acting as a key worker for a group of Early Years’ children.
