Public Protection Partnership, hosted by West Berkshire Council is seeking a Public Protection Community Officer to contribute to the delivery of high quality services that protect and enhance the well-being of our residents across Bracknell Forest, West Berkshire and Wokingham.
The Role
As a Public Protection Community Officer, you will work with the Senior Programme and Community Officer to engage residents across the partnership and support the delivery and awareness raising or key Public Protection Partnership objectives relating to reducing health harms, product safety and tackling fraud and scams.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to engage and build positive relationships with a diverse range of individuals.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- A proactive and solution-focused approach, demonstrating initiative in addressing community issues.
- Experience in community engagement and consultation is desirable
Please note this role is fixed term for 23 months after start date – Funding limited project
