If you strive to #BeTheDifference and want to be at the heart of our change and improvement journey, then this could be the perfect job for you.</p>\n<p><strong>Family Group Conference Co-ordinator - Fixed Term for 12 months.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>About the role:</strong></p>\n<p>In this role, you’ll develop your existing skills and expertise by working with children, young people, and their families enabling them to develop their own effective and family led plans.</p>\n<p>You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of families supporting them by planning, organising, delivering, and reviewing their Family Group Conferences.</p>\n<p>You will also be expected to undertake Mediation cases between family members.</p>\n<p>If you enjoy helping families to identify, implement and develop their own solutions and are up for the challenge that being the difference can present, then this could be a great opportunity for you.</p>\n<p><strong>About the candidate:</strong></p>\n<p>We are looking for someone who is qualified to NVQ level 3 (or above) in a relevant health/social care field and is already, or is willing to become, an accredited Family Group Conference Coordinator.</p>\n<p>You will be able to work within a framework of practice standards flexibly and be able to manage conflict, working constructively through it with families leading the way.</p>\n<p>Your experience should include working with children, young people and their families in the group and community settings and you will be expected to demonstrate your commitment to anti-discriminatory practice.</p>\n<p>You will also be willing to undertake formal Mediation training and work with family members.</p>\n<p>You will need a track record of effective report writing and working with highly sensitive cases, observing the principles of General Data Protection Regulations.
