About the role
This is a pivotal role leading our 1st and 2nd line IT support function and embedding best-in-class IT service management across the charity.
You’ll manage a high-performing support team, champion a culture of excellent customer service, and lead continuous improvement of our ITSM processes.
You'll develop and deliver an ambitious IT service roadmap, ensuring our systems, processes and supplier relationships support the needs of our staff across the UK. With a hands-on approach and deep knowledge of ITIL and service desk systems, you’ll ensure we deliver outstanding support and user experience every day.
You'll also play a key role in embedding secure practices, service transitions, and operational readiness for new technologies and services as needed.
About you
You’ll be an experienced IT service leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You bring a strong understanding of ITIL, proven success leading support teams, and demonstrable experience in delivering IT service management transformation.
You’re a confident communicator and people manager, comfortable balancing strategic thinking with operational delivery. Your approach is collaborative and proactive, and you’re passionate about providing exceptional service to end users across regional locations.
You’ll have extensive experience with service desk platforms, supplier management as well as establishing mature ITIL practices and performance reporting.

Primary location of role and hybrid working
This role is primarily based in our London or Sheffield office. Our hybrid working model allows you to work up to 3 days per week at home.
