We're committed to excellence in procurement and value-driven management of goods, services and works across the Group. We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team and lead complex procurement projects that deliver substantial value to the organization.
As a Procurement Manager you'll play a key role in supporting our category management approach across the Group, ensuring the efficient procurement of goods, services, and works. You will provide critical procurement and commercial expertise, leveraging market knowledge to achieve value for money.
You'll enjoy working collaboratively with other teams and you're first rate at building meaningful relationships across the business. You'll need to be in the office 1-2 days per week (this may vary based on business needs) and the remaining time you'll be able to work remotely.
Your role covers all aspects of procurement management - everything from supporting the development and implementation of category and procurement strategies to providing expert advice on internal Procurement Policy, Procedures, and Public Contracts Regulations. To be successful in this role, you're:
- qualified with CIPS to level 5 (or other relevant qualification).
- experienced in a large complex organisation with expert knowledge in the specialist field.
- experienced and knowledgeable of delivering procurement projects on time and to budget using a structured methodology (e.g. PRINCE2).
- experienced in leading a range of public procurement procedures.
- Knowledgeable and have understanding of policies, procedures, professional guidelines and legislation.
