The role will provide you with experience of working with a variety of teams across Council departments and with elected representatives as well as external partners and stakeholders.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a career graded post and will enable the post holder to gain experience and career progression. At the top of the scale the post holder will manage more complicated heritage and design issues. The post will therefore be suitable for someone who is looking to develop their skills in the fields of heritage and design, or for an experienced Planning Officer who is looking at taking the next step in their career. The post holder will be limited to Grade E until they attain membership of the RTPI at which point they move to SO1 and may progress up to SO2 without any restriction.
