The team provides strategic political, policy and communications advice and support and  decision-making support and  to the Leader and Cabinet. </p> <p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a highly motivated and politically aware advisor to be part of the Leader’s Office and External Affairs team at Lambeth Council. The role will require a capable all-rounder, comfortable working within a busy environment, with good understand of local government and the political and policy context in Lambeth. The Labour Group Advisor will report to the Head of the Leader’s Office and External Affairs and work closely with the Leader of the Council, Cabinet members and the Labour Group of 58 councillors.</p> <p>This is an exciting time to work for Lambeth council as we look to deliver on our bold ambitions for the future of Lambeth’s communities and residents through our Lambeth 2030 Plan ‘Our Future, Our Lambeth and seek to deliver on the priorities of the administration that was elected in May 2022.
