Occupational therapist
Newly qualified occupational therapists – if you have recently completed your occupational therapy degree, you'll be enrolled onto our Supported and Assessed First Year In Employment Programme for Newly Qualified Occupational Therapists (NQOT Programme) with all the benefits and support available for a newly Qualified occupational therapist.
Senior occupational therapist
Requirements for the senior role include actively undertaking a specialist role e.g. Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP), Best Interests Assessor (BIA), occupational therapy practice educator, or moving and handling specialist function role. Alternatively, an agreement to undertake at least one of these roles within the first year.
As an Adult Care Services occupational therapist, you'll hold your own caseload and work in partnership with people living in the community across Hertfordshire. You'll undertake a holistic assessment of need to identify person-centred outcomes.
