VANTAGE ACADEMY TRUST","description":"<p><strong>Chief Finance and Operations Officer</strong></p>\n<p><strong>£71,729 - £81,070 per annum (pay award pending wef 1 September 2024)</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Full Time, 37 hours x 52 weeks (Monday to Friday)</strong></p>\n<p>Are you passionate about working with an Academy Trust and looking for a Finance and Operations career where you can help us to become GREAT?</p>\n<p>We are a dynamic and forward-thinking Academy Trust committed to providing exceptional educational experiences to our students.</p>\n<p>This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced and inspirational finance professional to become our Chief Finance and Operations Officer.</p>\n<p>As the Chief Finance and Operations Officer, you will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and be responsible for reviewing existing practices and processes alongside securing the financial future of our Trust, ensuring public money is safeguarded at all times. </p>\n<p>You will also have strategic responsibility for the Trusts operations which will allow you to expand your involvement and knowledge into wider operations matters for the Trust.</p>\n<p>You will provide strategic financial leadership, ensuring robust financial management, compliance and sustainability across the Trust and our Academies. </p>\n<p>The role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our students by driving financial efficiency and supporting the Trusts growth plans.</p>\n<p>You will be an experienced finance or accounting professional preferably in an Academy Trust/School setting where you will bring outstanding leadership skills and a proven track record of achieving positive outcomes.</p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibiilties</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the financial strategy and operations of the Academy Trust, ensuring sound financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.</li>\n<li>Provide clear and accurate financial reporting to the Board of Trustees, CEO and other key stakeholders.</li>\n<li>Oversee the Trusts financial performance, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.</li>\n<li>Manage and develop the Finance Team fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with senior leaders to support strategic decision making and resource allocation.</li>\n<li>Act as Company Secretary</li>\n<li>Lead on Operations across the Trust</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>About You</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Professional finance or finance related qualification at graduate level (i.e. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, MAAT or equivalent)</li>\n<li>Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, ideally within the Academy or Education sector.</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of financial management within a multi-academy trust or similar organisation.</li>\n<li>Excellent strategic thinker and problem solving skills.</li>\n<li>Strong persuasive, influencing and interpersonal skills</li>\n<li>A commitment to the values and ethos of the Academy Trust and a passion for education.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>What we offer:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>A competitive salary and benefits package</li>\n<li>Professional development opportunities to further enhance your career</li>\n<li>A supportive and collaborative working environment</li>\n<li>Access to an Employee Assistance Programme (Vantage plus) which includes one wellbeing day in additional to annual leave</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Application Process</strong></p>\n<p>If you are a strategic financial leader with a passion for education and you are ready to take on this challenging and rewarding role then we would love to hear from you.</p>\n<p>Please see the application pack.</p>\n<p>To apply please visit our trust website at: <a href=\"{{SIGN-IN-REQUIRED}}\">Staff & Careers -
