announcing their arrival to colleagues.  You will provide customers with accurate information about services available and direct them as required.  You will manage the reception area, ensuring all information displayed is up to date, fully stocked and professional in appearance.</p>\n<p>Utilising the Council’s software systems and internet site, you will make appointments for customers and manage emails received into the Concierge inbox, responding or redirecting as required within agreed timescales. </p>\n<p>Your previous experience as a receptionist or similar front of house role will have provided you with the knowledge and understanding of what ‘excellent customer service’ looks like.  You will be used to working in a busy environment and have well developed interpersonal skills which will help you to deal professionally, diplomatically and empathetically with customers in a variety of situations. </p>\n<p>You will have proven experience of working with computerised systems including diary management and email.  Your attention to detail, the ability to learn quickly and your adaptable approach is essential.  You will be keen to put forward your suggestions for changes or improvements to service delivery for the benefit of our customers, and you will have demonstrable experience of working in a large team environment.</p>\n<p>The Concierge position operates on a three-week rota basis, however flexibility will be required to allow for holiday and sickness cover.  </p>\n<p><strong>Hours – 3 week shift pattern – Monday to Friday (average of 18.33 hours per week)</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Week 1 – Monday to Friday 8:30am – 2.30pm</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Week 2 – Monday to Thursday 2:15pm – 8pm  </strong><strong>Friday 2:15pm – 6.45pm</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Week 3 – Off</strong></p>\n<p>Full training and a uniform will be provided.</p>\n<p>All applicants should be aware that any employee, who is at threat of redundancy at
