Are you looking for the first step on the ladder of your planning career? An exciting opportunity in our Development Management Team has arisen for a 24 month period. It would be suitable for someone about to, or has recently graduated with a Planning or related degree. You will learn how to validate and determine planning applications, provide pre-application advice, investigate breaches of planning control and get involved with planning appeals. You will receive lots of on the job training in a friendly and supportive environment.
Our Area:
Wokingham is an attractive, historic market town located in the prosperous Thames Valley in the heart of Berkshire and 40 miles west of London. With easy access to the M4 and M3 motorways and on a train line between Reading and Waterloo and also Reading and Gatwick.
You will be provided with a laptop and a mix of home working and office working is available. Applicants should have a full driving licence and access to a car to undertake site visits. We are looking for people with great IT skills and a customer focused approach.
