They will be a team player and work to maintain a clean, safe and attractive learning environment at the school for the benefit of our pupils. They will be able to prioritise jobs and manage their own workload, working under the direction of the School Business Manager. They will be an effective communicator, able to work alongside school staff and external contractors efficiently. </p>\n<p>A knowledge of health and safety requirements in an educational establishment would be an advantage.</p>\n<p>The role will include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>being a key holder and liaising with external security agencies;</li>\n<li>maintaining standards of health and safety including undertaking statutory checks;</li>\n<li>undertaking health and safety checks, checking equipment;</li>\n<li>liaising with outside contractors;</li>\n<li>managing the school site in bad weather;</li>\n<li>general maintenance duties to maintain the internal and external school environment;</li>\n<li>Other duties are required around the school site.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Please refer to the Job Description for more information about the role.
