Winnington Park Community Primary School & Nursery prides itself on being a fully inclusive school, providing an excellent education for all our pupils. We are a popular, two-form entry community school which fosters extremely strong relationships with families. Our children are friendly and happy, keen to learn and are proud of their school and their community. We have a passionate, supportive and dedicated, highly effective staff team who work collaboratively to secure the best possible outcomes for our children and their families.
The successful candidate will be an inspirational and enthusiastic class teacher who values the opportunity to work with our wonderful children and families. You must have high expectations of the children’s potential to achieve (regardless of their starting points) and the professional knowledge and skills, drive and ambition to support them in making this a reality.
The successful candidate will be committed to their own professional learning, have a firm understanding of how to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, understand that their professional role extends across the whole school community; and be committed to collaborative working.
Applications should be made online with a letter of application no more than 2 sides in length identifying why you would be an ideal candidate for the post.
The closing date is Friday 16th May at 12:00 noon and interviews will be the following week. Visits to school are welcome and encouraged to experience the welcoming and positive ethos of the school. Please contact the school office to make an appointment (01606 74371).
We are committed to safe recruitment and ensuring the safety of our children; appointments would be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and satisfactory references. We may conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates as part of our safer recruitment processes.
