Learning Academy Manager in Children's Services
A great opportunity to join and lead our well-established Learning Academy in Birmingham Children’s Trust.
About the role
As the learning academy manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality training and development programmes for staff working across Birmingham children's Trust.
We are committed to excellence, innovation, and collaboration. We want to continue to grow a positive and supportive learning culture for our workforce and want our new Academy Manager to work with us on this journey.
You will lead a team of trainers, coaches, and mentors, and ensure that they have the skills, knowledge, and resources to support the learning needs of the workforce. The role will include design of new learning approaches and building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will work closely with the senior management team, and together with learning from quality assurance, address the strategic learning priorities, ultimately working to improve performance and quality of services for families and children across Birmingham.
The role will include leading on learning projects from start to finish. You will be expected to monitor, implement and evaluate the impact and outcomes of our learning programmes, and report on the progress and achievements of the learners and services. The manager will contribute to and oversee the continuous improvement and innovation of the learning academy and ensure that it aligns with the Trust’s vision and values.
