The role
The Strategic Applications Team manages the largest planning applications in the borough, including large regeneration schemes in Canada Water, the Aylesbury Estate and Peckham. These projects involve many policy areas, often require GLA referral and may include environmental statements.
You will manage your own caseload of complex applications and pre-application inquiries, including large residential and commercial schemes in a dynamic and exciting part of London. You will work with applicants, communities and consultees to resolve issues, and ensure developments deliver economic and social benefits to our residents while ensuring they meet the highest level of environmental standards.
Our commitment to you is to invest in your learning and development, from our regular in-house training seminars to more formal learning in the form of management qualifications and external training, for you to develop your career.
