Vacancy:

We are seeking to recruit a Sports Partnership Admin Assistant to support the Greenacre Sports Partnership in its daily administrative tasks. The successful candidate will carry out a predominately administration role with some delivery in primary schools. Many of the key tasks will focus around the Sainsbury’s School Games Level 1 & 2 Competitions, the day to day administration of the Sports Partnership, as well as the delivery of after school clubs and programme specific training in primary and secondary schools.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with excellent administration skills, looking to work within PE and School Sport. The successful candidate will report to the Sports Partnership Manager and become part of a committed, successful team.

The role will include:

  • Administration for competitions connected with the Sainsbury’s School Games.
  • Administration for the day to day running of the Sports Partnership.
  • Delivering key programmes in primary schools, such as Sports Crew training, after school clubs and Infant Agility.
  • Delivering competition support.
  • Assisting with reporting and monitoring.

Essential Requirements:

  • Excellent organisation, administration and IT skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The capacity to work without close supervision.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and transport.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Level 2 coaching qualification or above.
  • Degree in a sports related subject.
  • Minibus trained.
  • First Aid trained.
  • Experience of working in schools and with the community.
